How to become a Google AdWords Professional
After you have created your AdWords account you will be eligible to register for the Google AdWords Professional programme. The first stage of becoming an AdWords professional is to visit the Google AdWords Learning Centre, taking time to go through each element of Google AdWords in detail and take relevant tests to check your knowledge.
Once you are happy with your Google AdWords knowledge you can register to take Google’s AdWords exam. The exam comprises of 100 questions and can be taken over an hour and a half, a score of 75% or above is required to pass the exam.
The exam is not the only element to gaining your Google AdWords Professional status, you also need to manage an advertising spend of £500/$1,000 over a 90day period. You will need all three elements before you are awarded the Google AdWords Professional Status.

How to check someone has a Google AdWords Professional status
Once you have achieved your Google AdWords Professional status you will be given a link to an official page with your contact details and a copy of Google’s AdWords Professional logo.
Google state that all Google AdWords Professionals should link their logo to their official Google AdWords Professional page to provide proof of status.
